In January 2019 I went to Vogue Knitting Live in New York. It was fantastic and I won this beautiful charcoal and blue yarn from Manos del Uruguay. It took me more than a year to use it, but I finally made this beautiful Fern and Feather from it. I loved every bit of this pattern and the yarn! The pattern is well-written and an adventurous beginner would be able to manage it. The yarn is soft and has excellent definition. Now that I’ve worn it several times, it has a tendency to pill, but I think that’s true of all soft yarns. I have not machine-washed it, but it is superwash yarn. No one in Alaska carries this brand, but I have contacted them to see if we can start carrying their yarn in Soldotna. It’s addictive!
